"I’m so pleased with this new painting!! It feels like a coming-home kind of piece for me. I wanted to paint a piece that hit the sweet spot, venn diagram center of a painting technique I enjoy/captivated by, subject I’m interested in exploring and visually satisfying composition/light in the forest. You know that feeling of looking around the forest and feeling happily overwhelmed with all the shapes and color and movement?
